That’s a rather fabulous attire you’ve got goin’ on there, Captain.  I just- I don’t-… WHY ._.Even Tintin’s just looking at you like “What are you doing and why have you done it?”

So, got there. Saw it. 
Mind = Blown.
Any previous notion of Tintin being this simple character who I didn’t really care for outside of the comics was actually smashed in the face by this CGI, Jamie Bell’d version of him. 
And this would kill my 10 year old mind if I could see/hear myself saying this but… My God. Tintin in that film?
HE. WAS. FINE.

5 things I noticed while watching the movie:
  • Tintin is actually a badass, who can wreck an entire Moroccan town just using a bike that he stole after randomly punching down some guy standing in his way, and then just sit back in a beach chair as though the building he just destroyed didn’t just roll down the hill next to him.
  • I’m in love with his voice, and Tintin is a badass, who can wreck an entire Moroccan town with style, and then not get charged for it.
  • Tintin has a really, really attractive smile, one that I was willing to pay another $14 for another movie ticket just to see that particular five second moment. True story.
  • Tintin is tenacious, and holds a gun like a BAMF. Oh, and he can shoot down a plane with one single bullet and then hijack it. Then fly it with no previous knowledge. Like I said, BAMF.
  • My childhood is ruined.
H- He’s just. Why? Why make him so very attractive in the film and ruin my childhood views of him? 
Why did he suddenly become such a looker, and how and when and why and what the who and I don’t even know anymore. 
And I don’t understand how they can do that, but still give him the same innocence he had in the comics. 
I can’t… WHAT IS MY LIFE.
But seriously, guys.
